There are several big changes after LSU’s 46-41 victory against Alabama on Saturday. For the first time all season, the Crimson Tide are not projected to make the College Football Playoff. Sporting News moved into Oregon into the final Playoff spot for now, and the Ducks would face LSU in the Peach Bowl semifinal. We slid Ohio State and Clemson into a Fiesta Bowl rematch.

What does that mean for Alabama? For now, an Orange Bowl matchup with Virginia. That’s not where we pictured the Crimson Tide finishing this season, but that’s the play for now.
