Alday (12-3-1) and Lopez (9-4-1) pushed each other to the limit during their all-action fight at 135 pounds back in September, with Alday doing just enough in the judges’ eyes to get the razor-thin nod over his rival.
For the rematch, fight fans shouldn’t expect anything different than Alday and Lopez once again showing a willingness to stand in the pocket and trade fire with each other.
Will Alday once again get the best of Lopez, this time to retain his bantamweight title, or will Lopez exact sweet revenge on his rival and leave with championship gold for his efforts? We’ll find out Friday night.
