One of the most potentially confusing aspects of Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is the plethora of different special editions that are available for purchase. With each of these differing special editions offering unique selections of both physical and in-game benefits at different price points, something is offered to a huge range of players depending on what they are willing to pay.

The Basics of Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands
Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is an upcoming action role-playing first-person shooter, set to release with a litany of other AAA titles on March 25. Developed by Gearbox Software and published by 2K Games, the game takes place within the Borderlands universe, taking large inspiration from tabletop fantasy games such as Dungeons and Dragons.
The game retains the loot-centric ethos of the Borderlands formula, but utilizes it within a much more fantastical and role-playing medium. Players can fight using a large array of weapons, including guns, swords, and even magic. As a result of the aforementioned fantasy inspiration, the overworld of Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is sprawling and geographically diverse, offering a range of unique biomes and locations with their own respective enemy types and bosses.
Players will also enjoy an intensely detailed, multi-class character creation system within Tiny Tina’s Wonderland, which offers six unique skill trees that can be combined to create a truly curated build geared towards a player’s chosen play style. With a large focus and emphasis on co-op gameplay, players can use builds that compliment each other to create a party to be reckoned with during combat.
Tiny Tina herself is a fan-favorite recurring character of the Borderlands franchise, featuring prominently in her own DLCs for Borderlands 2, which Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is a successor to. A zany and unpredictable character, these personality traits of Tiny Tina are sure to bleed into the world she has created and guides the player through. Teaming up with a colorful cast of support characters throughout the game, the goal of the player is to collect the best loot and gear possible to take down the sinister Dragon Lord.
Tiny Tina Wonderland Pre-order Bonus
Anticipating players of Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands will be happy to know that there is an attractive bonus for pre-ordering the game. Although not a “special edition” of the game per-say, it would be remiss to not mention this pre-order bonus when listing the variety of special editions that are on offer. Players who pre-order the game will gain access to the Golden Hero Armor pack. This armor pack contains two golden themes that can be applied to any armor set in the game, adding a regal aesthetic that can be carried across the plethora of gear available through the sheer replayability of Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands.
Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands: Next Level Edition
The first edition beyond the standard edition for Tiny Tina’s Wonderland is that of the Next Level Edition. Priced at $69.99, this edition of the game is $10 more expensive than standard, but is accompanied by in-game benefits.
As is the trend for many newer releases, this edition of the game is the version optimized for the latest generation of consoles, namely the Xbox Series X/S and the PS5. Players on the latest console hardware will have to purchase this version of the game if they wish to experience the higher frame rates and performance increases that newer consoles provide.
Some may argue that this is misleading or unfair, while others maintain that it is the next logical step in video game pricing. Regardless, purchasers of this version of the game will also have access to the Dragon Lord pack as additional bonus content. This pack speaks to the detailed customization of Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, and contains the following:
The Apex Legendary Weapon Skullantir Legendary Spell Tyrant Attire Armor Preset (five items) Villain’s Visage Face Preset (two items) Death’s Head Makeup Pack (three items) Emperor of the Dead Banner Set (three items) Kwartz Hero Statue Material
Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands: Chaotic Great Edition
The next rank of special edition for Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is the Chaotic Great Edition. Coming in at $89.99, this edition of the game is $30 more than standard, but does contain a slew of benefits.
This version contains the optimized version of the game, as well as the previously outlined Dragon Lord pack, but is also available for Xbox One and PS4. This version, however, is unique in that it also includes the Season Pass for the game. Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is billed to receive four post-launch DLC expansions, making the acquisition of the Season Pass as a purchase bonus a fair and sensible choice for players who want to experience all the content the game will come to offer.
If that doesn’t satiate potential buyers, the Chaotic Great edition also comes with the Butt Stallion pack. The Butt Stallion pack will contain the following:
Diamond Guard Armor Preset (three items) Crystal Glitter Makeup Pack (five items) Adamant Throne Banner Set (two items) Diamond Hero Statue Material

Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands: Treasure Trove
The most unique edition available purchase for Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is the Treasure Trove. Being the most expensive purchase listed at $99.99, it is important to note that this is a physical collectors pack, and does not include the game itself.
Die-hard fans who take the pricey plunge will receive the following physical items:
Butt Stallion Plush Illustrated Tarot Cards Standalone Bunkers & Badasses Module Enamel Companion Pins Butt Stallion’s Castle Papercraft Booklet Cloth Wonderlands Map
Whilst this edition is on the more expensive side, the included items appear to be of a high quality and would definitely make a good edition to any collection. Regardless of what edition of the game players choose to go with, it will not be long before the tabletop inspired carnage of Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands gets underway.
