Some bowl games have been canceled. Some schools opted out of the postseason before it started. Bowl tie-ins will be fluid, and the number of games could change by the day. That makes bowl projections almost impossible to figure out. Sporting News takes its last crack at them before conference championship weekend. Alabama, Clemson, Notre Dame and Ohio State remain our picks for the College Football Playoff heading into the final weekend....

The Wolverines, one of the last four teams to make this year’s NCAA Baseball Tournament, clinched a spot the championship finals Friday with a 15-3 victory over Texas Tech in Omaha, Neb. In fact, as many as one in four have stopped using the standardized tests for admissions, Michael Nietzel, president emeritus of Missouri State University, told PBS News Hour. By doing that, they are looking to bring in more students of color, low-income students and other underrepresented populations that might not otherwise be admitted to a school they could succeed in.
