The two reported main candidates, former Charleston player Anthony Johnson and Wofford coach Mike Young, told the school “No, thanks” on Wednesday. Johnson cited personal reasons, namely his efforts to reconcile with his ex-wife (per the Post and Courier of Charleston); Young told the Spartanburg Herald Journal that he’s committed to staying at Wofford.
